We’re proud to share our updated East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network School Resource Pack, created to help schools across the region bring apprenticeship information, real stories and practical careers guidance directly into the classroom.

This free electronic resource pack has been developed by EMAAN, using grant funding from the Department for Education (DfE) and now the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), to support students to explore their next steps with confidence.

The updated pack includes 16 new podcast episodes featuring real apprentices from a wide range of sectors, including practical trades, solicitor apprenticeships, professional services, accountancy and more.

Each episode gives students the chance to hear directly from apprentices about how they found their roles, what they have learned, and the advice they would give to others considering an apprenticeship.

Inside the pack, schools will also find:
• An apprenticeship awareness video for assemblies, tutor time and careers sessions
• The new collection of 16 apprenticeship podcast episodes featuring real apprentices from different sectors and career routes.
• Short apprentice story clips for lessons and events
• A digital booklet covering apprenticeship levels, vacancies, applications and key student questions
• A myth-busting activity to challenge common misconceptions
• A guide to apprenticeship applications to help students prepare, apply and stand out
