Welcome to the New EMAAN Newsletter

Welcome to the first edition of our refreshed EMAAN newsletter.

This new format is designed to keep you, our Ambassadors, connected to what is happening across the East Midlands and nationally. It will highlight the incredible impact you are making, share opportunities to get involved, and ensure you feel part of a growing and thriving network.

Celebrating an Incredible Year of Impact

We are incredibly proud to share that EMAAN was the first region to hit all of its targets across the year.

This is a huge achievement and one that truly reflects the passion, dedication and commitment of our Ambassador community.

Together, you have:

  • Reached 308 schools across the East Midlands

  • Supported and mentored over 250 SMEs to understand and engage with apprenticeships

This is not just a number. This is real impact.

It represents:

  • Thousands of young people being inspired to consider apprenticeships

  • Hundreds of employers gaining the confidence to invest in skills

  • A stronger, more inclusive future workforce across our region

This success is down to you.

Every talk delivered, every event attended, every conversation had has contributed to this milestone. You should be incredibly proud of the difference you are making.

Reminder: Our Q4 recording survey will be sent out in the next week. Please do take a few minutes to complete this so we can accurately capture the full scale of your impact across the year.

National Apprenticeship Ambassador Conference

In mid-March, Ambassadors from across the country came together at the Kia Oval for the National Apprenticeship Ambassador Conference.

The event brought together both Apprentice and Employer Ambassadors to:

  • Take part in sessions on community development

  • Build confidence in public speaking

  • Hear directly from government officials on changes within the apprenticeship sector

We are especially proud of our very own Apprentice Ambassador Champion, Iqra, who co-hosted the event and represented the East Midlands with confidence and professionalism.

Events like this are a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Build your network nationally

  • Develop your skills

  • Represent your region on a bigger stage

We would love to see more EMAAN Ambassadors, both Apprentice and Employer, getting involved in future national opportunities.
