Introducing the AAN’s New National Leadership Team

We are pleased to share that the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network has now announced the four members of its new national leadership team, who will take up their positions from Wednesday 1 July.

Kathryn Marshall MBE will be stepping up from her current role as AAN Vice Chair to become the new National Chair. Kathryn is a senior leader in Next Gen Talent at Lloyds Banking Group, where she leads the strategy and delivery of early careers, apprenticeships and emerging talent pathways. She has been part of the AAN for nine years and brings extensive experience, commitment and insight to the role.

Kathryn will be joined by three new Vice Chairs:

Employer Lead: Katie Rankin

Katie is Emerging Talent and Careers Manager at Jet2 and has over 15 years’ experience across apprenticeships and skills, spanning multiple sectors. She has also served as Employer Co-Chair for the Yorkshire and Humber AAN for the last six years and has completed two apprenticeships herself.

Apprentice Lead: Tegan Hinch

Tegan is a Production Office Governance Analyst at Santander. She began her career as a Data Science Degree Apprentice and has since continued to build her career across different sectors while consistently championing apprenticeships. Tegan has been part of the AAN for six years and, for the last two years, has served as Apprentice Co-Chair for the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Multi-region Employer Lead: Sarah Moors

Sarah is Head of Apprenticeships at BBC Academy, where she leads a multi-award-winning team designing, managing and delivering pre-employment and apprenticeship schemes across journalism, technology, production and business functions. Sarah has also completed a Level 7 apprenticeship, has been part of the AAN for five years and is an active member of the Multi-region group.

As we welcome the new national leadership team, we would also like to acknowledge and thank Anthony Impey MBE and Tom Culley BEM for the superb contribution they have made to the AAN over the last four years. Their expertise, leadership, skills and insight have played a significant role in the continued success of the network.
